For aesthetic reasons, and to ensure a consistent visual identity across the whole moto-academie.fr website, many of the images shown are illustrations we create ourselves.

We first launched the site with images taken from the web, but we ran into a variety of problems (style, size, rights…) that made it look visually unappealing: every model was shown against a different background, from a different angle, under different lighting, and so on. We were not happy with the result. So we decided to try out a range of different tools and set up a “workflow” that seemed right to us, relying among other things on AI image-generation tools.

The site’s visuals are generated from one or more reference images of the motorcycle model concerned. However, despite this reconstruction work, our workflow is not perfect and may produce errors, approximations or visual differences, whether in shapes, proportions, details, equipment, colours or finishes.

But since the motorcycles shown are reasonably faithful to the originals (you can recognise the models if you know them) and the site looks nicer and more pleasant to browse, this is a choice we have made, even though the tools we use sometimes take liberties and alter or invent details that are not there.

As a result, we want to make it clear to our readers that the images on this site are for illustrative purposes only and are not an accurate representation of the actual model.
